    Default newbie question

I have my what I think is my Grandfathers old stopwatch which was issued to him in the RN. He was a serving submariner and if possible would like any info about this stopwatch. It doesn't appear to have a makers name on the workings or the face but has the Large arrow on the back of the case with PATT 4 above the arrow and the number 41396 below it. There is a serial number on the workings 16469

Hey John ? an interesting one...Admiralty Pattern 4 I believe... It is a stop watch right?

It may be an unsigned Breitling movement no.122

Lemania were often issued but also Cyma, Jaeger and quite a few others...by the Brit military..... but my books say it is possibly a Breitling

Ta for info didn't expect it be a possible breitling. It is a stopwatch works fine when laying flat face down but stops when moved. Balance wheel appears wonky so can anyone suggest a repairer. Requires a glass as well. Probably repair exceed value but it was my grandads
