Got a new incoming issued CWC 6BB chronograph

Have not posted in a while did not have any thing new to post. I kind of been on the hunt for ether a CWC, Hamilton, Newmark,Precista RAF or Navy issued chronograph and missed out on a few. Finely got one should get it in a few weeks a CWC RAF chronograph issued in 1981 has a dial variation only used for a few years from 1980-1981 and the hands are a little different for the ones issued in the 1970's here are some of the sellers photo's.




Also picked this one up got this one all ready a CWC diver over run from 2002 sold to the public


I guess before Silvermans bought the company from the issue marks were the number issued and year not on it like silvermans puts on the case backs today and tritium T dial. Lume to old to glow.

I've always loved the Asymmetric cased chronographs and have owned a few see pics.... I approached CWC who are actually owned by a shop in the East End of London called Silverman's about using those divers as a base for an ATG diver.... this was before anyone really new about them but they were wary and it took so long to try and work things out that it just went away... but have a look at the watch design I put to them.. I thought it would have been a nice little project....

Well it finely came. Hey Al that one CWC with the sub dials in a different location on the dial was that model ever issued. Seen it at Silvermans web site. Dropped it off for a service the other day. Now another long wait like the delivery.

sorry missed this... no I don't think they were issued just the 7733 straight across subdials like yours.... I do love those... post it when it comes back... love those cases.. A
