Default CWC Divers - Please educated me

In frustration at not being able to source a Broadarrow PRS3 or 11 I've started looking at the CWC Divers.

Can I ask how they compare & can they only be bought new via Silvermans, who seem to get some very poor references?

    Thanks in advance.

You mite put a WTB at the MWR forum in the PX and at the TZ-UK forum I would go after a issue piece they hold there value better than one got from silvermans that was never issued.

    Default CWC Diver's...

    Hi Andy,

I have owned a few over the years, all quartz ones I should add and they are a nice watch for the money...and you can get an issued one, maybe with some cool history for the same as new one.

I had an issued SBS black version which I sold on...although it was very beat up it had a great charcater...on reflection I should have kept it!

I have had a new RN version from Silvermans but I think it needs beating up a bit...looks very 'bling' when new whcih is surprising given it is military issue...although I think they use a generic case as you seems the same type all over.

Currently on my 2nd SBS...came from the original owner, via a German Kampfschwimmer!

    Issue numbers rubbed out...

    Good luck!

I've had an issued SBS version for a couple of years and would certainly recommend one. Here's some photos of it on Konrad Knirim's book...

Mike's right - if you are looking for one of these I would definitely search out the real McCoy - an issued CWC, particularly the desirable SBS version - and forget about the numerous copies (MWC, Broadarrow, Kronos etc).

    Regards

    Jon'.
