    But from the original owner and with a full military history...

    The original owners words...

    First issued to me in 1991 by B Sqn 9th/12th Royal Lancers

    It has seen service in the following theatres:

    Bosnia, as part of Operation Grapple 1 as part of UNPROFOR, Nov 1992-Apr 1993

    Northern Ireland, Belfast, Jul 1993-Jan 1994

    Bosnia, As part of IFOR attached to 1 Sqn RAF Regt, Jul 1995-Nov 1995.

    P (Pegasus) company, The Parachute Regiment, 1996

    Parachute Training Sqn, Brize Norton, 1997

    Cyprus, United Nations peace keeping force, Aug 1997- Dec 1997

    Kosovo, Nato peace alliance, Dec 1997- May 1998

    Sierra Leone, Operation Barras, hostage rescue attached to D Sqn 22nd SAS Regt. Sept 2000 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Barras

    I then worked as a private military contractor, working in Algeria and Guatemala.


    I left the watch with all its battle scars intact and it's now living out nice quiet retirement

    John nice watch with some history behind it.I also have 1995 issue CWC G-10 in my collection but don't know the history behind mine.

    I should have responded to this before - a great find, John, with amazing provenance. Are the medals etc part of your collection too?
