    Default Great stuff!

You may need to practice your lines for the next time tho - must admit that "Kampfschwimmer" confuddles me too!

Interesting watches. Strange to think that Glashutte was part of GUB and had a hand in making these huge quartzes! Quite a lot of variation on these dials and bezels too...

Any shots of the back? There's an NVA Ruhla dbase that may be worth looking at (http://www.ephemerol.de/ruhla/index.htm) to see where this one fits in.
Your bleeding-edge Now is always someone else’s past. Someone else’s ’70s bellbottoms. Grasp that and start to attain atemporality.

Thanks to Al' for copying this over from Ocean Ready.

There's more info' on the NVA Ruhla in this older post on NSN 6645 http://forum.atgvintagewatches.com/s...ead.php?t=1570.

Nalu - don't you have one too?

    Regards

    Jon'.

I do Jon, a NOS one that probably way unissued. I just bought what looks like a nicely-worn Ruhla, will post pics when it arrives.

Thanks for your PM, very helpful!

BTW, the OP isn't showing up for me? All is see is some html code which looks like it's a video link.
