Default US military steel bracelet WW2

I have seen these steel bracelet's before some people call it trench art made by the troops.I heard they would make them out of downed enemy aircraft.Well this one was factory made by Berkeley USA maybe sold out of a PX?So maybe they were all factory made?At another forum we give stuff away that we don't use I had a extra Doxa rubber strap gave it to another member for free and he PM me knew I collect stuff like this ask me if I wanted this Berkeley bracelet from WW2 so here it is.Got a free Hamilton military wristwatch cir 1977 from the same forum it needed a service and a second hand.I got it on a Elgin A-11 that is as mint as they come. The bracelet kind of got that art deco look.

Here is a shot of the movement.

Here is a steel bracelet from my time. When in US Navy are ship would stop in the Philippines in Subic Naval Base.Out side the base there was a town called Olongapo were you could get these bracelets made with your unit's or rate that you were in the military well I would party instead and not get one.All way's wanted one so years later at the MWR forum a member from the Philippines was selling them so I ordered one 22 years late. And they are named for the town they are made Olongapo bracelet's.

The crossed anchor's is for my rate Boatswain mate the other was for my NEC 9533 Combatant craft crewmember it's a pin after we qualified for it.
