This 5517 marked case just sold for £5,599 on ebay. Description was as follows -

"Genuine 5513/5517 double référence milsub case. The case obviously was "civilized" with a crude erasing of military reference outside the caseback and serial number inside it. Miraculously the 5517 on the lug escaped erasing because very hard to spot with naked eyes . A Rolex bracelet was also crudely fitted on the fixed bars but they remain almost intact. The watch serial belong to well known batch of double ref milsubs The original issue number and year of issue is known and confirmed by a Rolex Bexley letter".
