Default Hello All I need some help

    Hello
I have a watch I am trying to find a home for, Its a WW2 Stop watch made by a German maker Johs Hartmann made in Berlin made from silver type metal stamped on the back plate is the Wehrmacht bird logo with the Swastika beneath and then the letter M
The glass has a crack and the small hand of the secondery smaller clock face is broken.
The watch works well and I am about to send it away for repair.
Can anyone give me an idea of value and where to advertise it
    Many thanks

Welcome Elmsie. Are you interested in military watches or do you have just this one watch which you want to sell? If it's the former, you've come to the right place!

Even if its the latter, post some photos here for discussion as many here will be interested and you might learn more about the watch (and what it might be worth). Who knows, you might then decide to keep it and post on this forum?

Any information about the provenance of the watch would help, for example, do you know anything about its history, how did you acquire it?

As a teaser, from what you have said already I can tell you that it was issued to the Kreigsmarine...(have a look at these posts here about the KM watches http://forum.atgvintagewatches.com/s...ead.php?t=1936 and http://forum.atgvintagewatches.com/s...ead.php?t=1925. Follow the links to other threads here on the Hanhart thread too).

    Regards

    Jon'.
