    Lesson in communication.
We spoke about it, he knew a bit, I told him a bit more.
I said I couldn't afford what it was worth, and suggested he got it worked on.
He informed me it was already listed, and it went for a low sum.
I commiderated, and said it went cheap, he suggested I could have bought it for less.
I never even thought to ask what he wanted for it......

He then went on to find a nice Enicar compressor in his drawers too.

If it's Lemania-powered, I'm interested. Tool Chrono - interested. Dive Chrono - interested. Interesting - interested

Not an HS9 but the black-dialled RAF.
Tidy example about a grand down on value for servicing needs.

That would make for a very happy new owner. Even with servicing needs.

The seller of these is raising his prices from time to time. the red navigator is for sale for quite a long time now, starting at 850 pounds. i asked for a slightly better price two years ago (guess who was the 'eagle eyed' guy noticing the chapter ring is set wrong )

last message roundabout six month ago was: 'there are many younger people in britain now interested in these watches'. really? brexit?
