    Default L5100 Center Chrono Hand: Photo & Name Thread

    Writing my previous post in search of a 5100 hand set made me realize that it would be fun, if not useful, to document and attempt to name each type of Lemania center chronograph hand styles. We have used some common parlance before, but seeing as how that center minutes totalizer is a main attraction to the 134x and 5xxx movements, it would be nice to see all the different styles and then try to create a set of terms to describe each.

    I'll start with the one still in my pasteboard:

    I would like to call this a "wide arrow" or maybe "wide, open arrow."

    Thoughts?

    Have a look at Pascals post here for some variety! (I don't know where my pics disappeared to ).

    For me, for the main three types I've adopted 'delta', 'swept wing' and 't' or 'straight';

    Ah yes, thanks. I forgot Pascal's thread. Must have been busy then...

    I like your airplane wing analogies. Makes much sense!

    Got to say my order of preference is swept, straight and then delta - no idea why?!

    I need to put some time into this one, there are others to point to as well, such as both Porsche design variations: lollipop and what one might call a simple delta, like this...

    I'll get back to this later, if I can

    If it's Lemania-powered, I'm interested. Tool Chrono - interested. Dive Chrono - interested. Interesting - interested
