    Default Of Sinns and Straps

Recently... Okay, a few months ago, I had the opportunity to purchase a DiModell Chronissimo strap for the best price I have seen yet. Which is to say, still expensive but not terribly expensive. It was also the short length version, so I decided to try it out. The Chronissimo enjoy a great reputation and I have a watch that seems to call out for this specific strap:

It is a fairly thick strap, but after some time it begins to bend to the wrist shape. I was worried that it would overwhelm the very light Sinn 143, but it seems to wear very well.

Straps are difficult for me because my wrist is narrow. When I found another unknown-name brand strap in the correct short length for me, I snagged it. Turns out this is a 22mm version of a flieger-style strap. Hm, I know something that might work well with it...

I still like my vintage Stellux bracelet, but this strap seems to suit the Lemania quite well, yes?

I agree it suits them well.
I have my Orfina PD Bund on a Chronissimo, and it fits like a dream.
    No pic as yet though.

    Nice combos indeed.
I like the Chronissimo (it's why I have 3 or 4 of them), the step out suits many hooded lug (and short lug) watches very well, as long as it is big enough.
I put one of my Tutima Pacific, and the watch looked like a pimple on the strap!
The chronissimo moulds very nicely to the wrist when worn, and is genuinely waterproof too (one I have has been in the pool and sea more than 50 times and looks great).
However it is very thick, and quite sweaty in warmer climes.
The chronissimo pilot is another alternative, I will try and take some piccies soon. It doesn't have the fold over section and it the same shape, but a little quieter.

If it's Lemania-powered, I'm interested. Tool Chrono - interested. Dive Chrono - interested. Interesting - interested
