    Default Concorde Airliner Survival Compass

    Well I don't know the time but I do know where I am going......

    This is a Survival Compass from one of the Concordes that when through here in Filton, Bristol. It appears to strap around the thigh and came to a friend of mine with provenience signed naming the version Concorde it came from.... :)

    It appears to be military issue about 32mm across18mm deep... I guess they just phoned up the MOD and had them send over a few....

    Unusual mate and rather cool.
    It is a shame Concorde had to be retired.
    It is funny though, considering how advanced Concorde was, in an emergency they had a 300 year old navigational device to fall back on lol.

    yep lol... and a tiny one at that... but if you had crash landed in a Concorde and survived then I guess you'd take anything.....
