Well the Exotic dial Rolex Daytona owned by actor Paul Newman that led to the watch being known as the Paul Newman Daytona (Even by Rolex) has surfaced & will be auctioned in New York in the Autumn.
Last month a Ref:6062 owned by the last emperor of Vietnam the Bao Dai sold for just over $5,000,000.



There is speculation the Paul Newman Daytona could double that!

Yes all the speculation was $10 to $20 million & it didn't disappoint.
Madness, but I guess if you have the money it's yours to spend how you like & if they stick to their promise to give all the proceeds to the Nell Newman trust even better.
