but honestly, who buys this sh*te?

Flicking through a car mag today and this horror befell my eyes
    It's over £4,000 too.

    Just one question - why?

    Cheers,
    Gary

Slightly disingenuous branding on those - sounds like it might be related to British Racing Motors... not a fan. Although there were doing some business at Goodwood FoS this year. Some obviously like them, and they are very customisable...
Your bleeding-edge Now is always someone else’s past. Someone else’s ’70s bellbottoms. Grasp that and start to attain atemporality.

I imagine the same folk would be driving blinged-up Range Rovers with chromed wheels, blacked out windows and a few additional sub-woofers, and listening to the latest album by 32p*.

Or am I just old an grumpy?

I do think that there are racing enthusiasts that believe that these are in some way linked to BRM. I note that Bernard Richards Manufacture does have links / tie-ins with a number of drivers' associations / clubs, although I don't recognise many of the names...

    Matt,
I can understand there may be a tie in to BRM that racing enthusiasts might relate to, but that does not detract from the fact that watch is Fugly.
Don't get me wrong I actually quite like the case design and the crown and pushers are unusual and would appeal to some like the Graham Chronofighter does, but that dial is horendous.
It is the watch equivalent of the burning of our national flag

On the Subject of Graham and Fugly watches.
    This is rare!
I think this actually aces the above abomination.

The people who buy watches like those are the same that buy Grahams or Jacobs - Footballers & other well off chavs who are part of the "look at me" crowd.
