Default can I come in (my name's not Dave!) LOL

Been lurking for a while, but finally made my first post here tonight on another thread, so thought I'd better do the formal intro bit. I see some names I know here, but for those who don't know me....

My name's Rich, I live in West London & I've been collecting watches for a number of years now. Note I said "collecting" - I'm a hoarder by nature and find it very hard to let watches go, so have probably more than is really healthy. Actually there is no "probably"

I can appreciate most watches, but what gets me excited are watches from the 1960's & 1970's. My collection is based around divers watches, but there are a few chronos and electrics in there too. Don't worry, I won't bore you all with lots of pictures in my second post

    Good to be here!

    Rich

    Default Hello mate...

...good to see you over here .

Don't worry they've been pretty kind and tolerated my inane ramblings for a while now and I'm not a Dave either. Although Al and do have the odd difference of opinion but it's all in good fun. Because we're both originally Northerners its to be expected anyway .

For those that haven't seen any of Dave's, sorry Rich's collection over on TZ-UK or RLT it's pretty impressive to say the least. I've never seen it in the flesh or indeed Rich but I know a man who has and I think he's still picking his jaw up off the floor.

Can't wait to see some pics and some moral support for all things 60's-70's and involving Hippocampus's will be greatly appreciated . I've been trying to enlighten this lot for years now, so it won't seem like a one man crusade anymore. I've finally got an ally, look out world

    Cheers,

    Gary

    From a Dave!
I lurk over at TZ-UK a bit, and have admired your straps - let us know when any appear!!
Gary, do you like Omegas? Who'd have thought?

    Welcome mate (from another non-Dave)

I'm also a lurker over there and have admired the legendary Toshi straps. Would love to see more of 'em...

    Hi Rich
Good to hear from you, and welcome. I guess that I too am not alone in having seen and admired Toshi creations over at TZ-UK. Great work, keep it up.
Look forward to seeing some more.
    Cheers

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone

I didn't realise so many people knew about my straps! Thanks for the kind words

Back to watches though , here are a few pics of my Omegas, taken about a month ago (I hope the photography here doesn't need to be up to Gary's standard?)

Since these pics were taken there has been one arrival and one departure (). The SM300 has left me, but this has come i to take it's place...

    That should make Gary happy

    Default Ooh lovely!

It's like flipping through those album cover books you used to get as a kid, got, not got, got .

Thanks for posting Rich although I have got a bit green now .

    Cheers,

    Gary

P.S. Now how about your Seiko's and Doxa's

Lovely collection of Omegas, great stuff.

And not a strap in sight (well, one NATO)!

Do you wear most of them on bracelets, or did you assemble them for the group shots on their "original" bracelet?

(and by the way, you don't have anything to fear in terms of image quality)

    Cheers
