    Default Baylor "Aquaplunge"

Just a teaser, really. I'll post proper pics and a full write-up in due course/

Lovely case and dome to these. Friction bezel, painted numerals in red (minute markers) and black (five minute markers). "T Swiss Made T" marked dial. Trit hands.

    450 feet / 150m.

And similar case to a host of others, including the Squales...

Lovely - I really like the hands/dial on these, I think Rotary did an Aquaplunge too along with Lator (who, as far as I can tell, don't have a model name as such for it).

My father had one for years and lent it to me to go travelling with in the eighties. I picked up the same model just last year out of sentimentality really, here:

Does the Baylor use the Landeron 17 movement? (I think that's what's in mine...)

    (Also - out of interest - http://www.mwrforum.net/forums/showthread.php?t=37732 )

Eta - See what you mean with the inverted commas around "Aquaplunge" now. I've only had 1 coffee, so apologies!

    Landeron 154 I believe Andy.

Later, different models appear to have a Val 72 or the 7733.

This is the only Baylor-branded one I've seen. But I'm sure there are more out there. It joins my other Baylor watches (a starfish-backed diver and Baylor's turn on the classic Jaeger leCoultre Barracuda)
