Hi all. As you all know I have the old Panda, and love it. Alistair asked if I could do a bit of a review of the watch, so here goes.
The thing that drew me to this model was the simple layout, and the dial colour - I didn't really have a light coloured watch and this was one of the few that spoke to me. And it was for my 40th, so it had to be a special watch.

Then I really noticed the subdials - they seem to be black, but at times are almost brown or blue, depending on the light. The finish on these is beautiful, nice prominent ridges. The hands on these are stainless, and can appear black or silver depending on
the light - also cool.

The case is seriously chunky, but not too heavy, and the PVD finish is different, but really works. The crown, as you've probably all seen before, is the classic propeller in keeping with the company heritage.

The display back and crystal are first class - the decoration of the movement is well done - aircraft theme and the blued screws look great. The serial number on the back and the movement are a nice touch.

Finally, while it looks awesome on leather, it also works on a NATO - here's an Olive Khaki and a Dark Brown.

Oh, and it glows OK too!!
