Default ATG Marine Straps 2009- No Kevlars suffered in the making ...

of the new ATG Marine straps...

Well i have made them lighter, thicker, and softer... larger pics with explanations of finish in the Galleries at my place.....

    Here are the samples...

    Marine Strap 2 will be a 20mm x 18mm (maybe a 22mm as well)

Marine strap 3 will be 22mm x 20mm meant for large watches, let me know if any other sizes would be good.

Phew! Glad no kevlars suffered! Makes live a lot easier for ne: no guild when I'm wearing one. In so many words: yes please, when can I order one? Pref. 20 mm

Glad no kevlars were harmed in the making of the strap, when will they be up on the store?

Sorry gonna be about 4-6 weeks..... a few tweaks are needed. Stitching slightly thicker, better flexing in the coating (although it only goes so far). I am also loading a 'new' merchant area below the one I have with all the new stuff as we speak.

Also I have a completely new range of Crocodile straps in 22mm x 20mm and 22mm x 18mm that I will show you today too!

New versions looking good. I like the Mark 1 versions a lot, but can see where the improvements are going, which is great. Looks like I (and Dave) will be investing in a red indellible Sharpie for the stitching!!

Not wanting to be too greedy, but any chance of a timescale on the utility, I am very keen to see how that is shaping up....?

    Cheers

If it's Lemania-powered, I'm interested. Tool Chrono - interested. Dive Chrono - interested. Interesting - interested

I'm glad you included a 20mm cordura this time, I think I have a spot for one. Hopefully the exchange rate hasn't gone south again before those get here.

Cought my attention here! Alistair, are you considering different colour stitching too? I own an Orsa Sea Angler (pic on an other part of this forum) and your kevlar strap combined with 'lumen coloured' stitching would look great, I think! Come to think about it, a lot of watches have greenish parts on the dial. Perhaps there's a demand for kevlar with this greenish stitching?

(Hmmm, that would take my order up to two straps: one 20 mm with regular stitching, and one 22mm with 'lumen' stitching).

    Have a nice weekend!

Those are looking v cool indeed. Do they have the ATG buckle on them? Are the orange-stitched straps still available? Still looking for something for my Sumo (20mm)

Your bleeding-edge Now is always someone else’s past. Someone else’s ’70s bellbottoms. Grasp that and start to attain atemporality.

Just had a wild idea: What if the dye for stitching could be impregnated with super luminova? Would it look wild in the dark, or just cruddy?

Note though, this was just a wild idea, I don't think I'd want it for the mounting I have in mind for an ATG Marine strap.

Look great so far. What about a black on black "stealth" version with black stitching? I'd be interested in both 20mm and 22mm.

    Cheers
