Default Bristol way GTG last night... 3rd December 2008

Well Gary and I drove out into deepest darkest Gloucestershire last night and met up with some TZ.UK regulars........

Nice chaps all and I stered them over here to have a look at the startling and insightful environment that 'is' the ATG Forum.....

    Watches on display were;

    Rolex
    Sub 5513
    Sub 5508
    GMT 1675
    Seadweller x 2
Ceramic bezel GMT two tone (nice bezel not great action)
    Another GMT Two Tone

    Omega
    PloProf - mesh
    Speedmasters various from Gary
    Seamaster Shom
    all of his F300s

Longines - hour angle - cool watch

    Most of my chronographs
    PD 5100
    A&F val. 72
    Navitimer
    Hanhart WWII

    Ocean 7
    Dunno models but quite impressive
Precista - Omega Seamaster 300 thingy, quite cool watch...

Some alarm watches that were very cool from a Magistrate 'no less'

Gary and I forgot our Cameras so hopefully John from last night will be able to drop some pics on this post or email to me and I will post?

A very nice evening was had and great to meet some very nice guys and have a chat...

The rest of you should have been there.....

Good to meet a set of new people and put some faces to names finally.

I don't think I've seen so many Rolex's in one place and so many SD's, at least three to my reckoning. Great to actually handle a Ploprof too, a first for me. I've never really been that keen on it tbh but last night changed my mind. Just wish I could actually afford one.

I'm not sure what the rest of the people in the pub thought of us weirdo's with the watches, I did here a few mutterings on my way to the bar .

Here's to the next meet and hopefully a few of the ATG regulars can attend next time.

    Cheers,

    Gary

Default Thanks for taking and posting the pics Jon

With those pictures I reckon you could be the official ATG events photographer. I invariably take my camera, get chatting and completely forget to take any snaps .

Here's to the next get together, I'm looking forward to getting acquainted with Roger's Rolexs' .

    Cheers,

    Gary
