Default FS - Orfina / Porsche Design Lemania 5100 Chronograph civil version

This was the second (decent) watches I bought (about 4 years ago), but I have another one (a 3H dial version) to put together, so sentimentality aside, it is time to shift it on and release funds. No trade offers please, I need cash.

There is a plethora of information on these, so I will dispense with unnecessary detail.

It is 40.2mm diameter, 42.5mm inc. crown
    44.8mm over the hooded lugs
    15.3mm thick
    20mm lugs

It looks great, but is not entirely original. If you like total original detail, go elsewhere, this is not the right watch for you. If you would like a commendably presentable version, keep reading, as the price reflects condition.

This is an early (lollipop hand), civil version (km tachymetre ring), with German day-wheel, which I believe started life as a black PVD version. It has been blasted of the PVD, but some just about remains in the hidden section of some of the (original) bracelet links. The only shame is that the blasting was applied to the whole case, which means that the caseback markings are now very faint and not very legible (serial number 23219). Since blasting there are only a few small marks on the case. The blasting has removed some material from the crown (it is an original pd one). Also note that the clasp has some slight residual colour to it. I have altered the contrast in the shots to highlight it

It certainly looks like it has a replacement crystal. And the hands are in very tidy order, with slight age to the lume on them and the dial. The hands and dial match for aging.

It does have the original signed crown and signed bracelet, comfy on my 7.5” wrist with two adjustment holes for enlargement.

Please examine the photos for condition, I can provide larger versions for closer scrutiny if required.

All functions are great, chrono works fine, so does the reset, as does date, and it keeps time to within 7 secs per day, with a 42 hr reserve. I have just had it serviced and adjusted at Watchworks Bristol, specifically for this sale, as it had drifted a little since a full service 2 years ago.

Bearing in mind the non-originality, but allowing for its very clean and presentable condition, think it is fair to ask 750 for this watch. You can make offers if you want, but please do not be offended if I decline.

I would prefer a UK sale, and UK RMSD is included in the price. I prefer bank transfer, if you must use paypal, I will have to add 3% to cover costs. Post overseas could be added on if required.

Here are some photos , please excuse the dust.

I look forward to hearing from you
