Default Incomming WW1 Zenith Signal Corps USA issued wristlet

Bought this on Fleabay on 11-11-17 and that was the anniversary when WW1 ended . So I got a great price for this that I could not turn down. Should get it next week all ways wanted one of these but the prices I thought to high for a watch I would wear once in a while. But the history these have the early US Air Force was attached to the Signal Corps and these watches mite of been issued to pilots I have read.

Will be ordering a WW1 era strap for it.
Hand made hallmarked sterling silver buckles

A little info on these can't wait to get it the dial and hands are in great shape.

Surprised more did not do it some years back when they use to show up on Ebay in the old days when stuff was cheaper. Jimmy check watch auction sites they do show up there more these days. There is only a few threads on a few Signal Corps watches on MWR just surprised more did not show up there. This will be a tougher feat for you each watch is over a 100 years old now and less survived those years compared to the WWW's. Only seen one post were some one had 7 of them
    just missing the Tavannes

Good luck on your quest and if any one can do it you can. I will be watching for your first Signal corps watch.

I didn't know they existed, Mike, or I would have collected them.
I got all the 1.W.W. Corps of Engineers pocket watches, that was tough and bloody expensive as well!

Should get it on Monday the seller was lagging putting it in the mail. He made up the label with tracking no. I would check the tracking and saw waiting for package to be delivered to be shipped I was a little worried. Will post better photo's when I get it. Just glad it's on it's way.

    Well received it last week

That strap it came with had to go got new one correct for the WW1 era

The watch looks all correct from Wesolowski book with more info could of been a US issued Pilots watch

Here is what the US Army first pilot wing looked like see the signal flags the US air force was attached to the signal corps in WW1.
