Default A cool strap for military issued or vintage diver watches

At anther forum some one posted some thing about this cool looking strap that's a copy of one used by the French Military for there dive watches but with a twist hardware that really improved it the issued ones that was a solid loop and no hardware. This is the only strap I ever got were you can adjust it for the perfect fit no dam strap hole were is if gets stretched it's to loose or to tight at the next hole or it that way when you get the strap then you put a hole between holes and it looks like crap. well I email the seller she said if I want one send my wrist size I guess to make sure no excess strap so it fits just right. Then I ordered one I had the perfect watch for it my Eterna Kontiki IDF. Link for the strap the price is kind of high but after getting the strap was worth it nothing else like it except the solid loop ones with sizes S,M,L you got to stretch it over the wrist and with no way to adjust it mite not fit at all and you wasted your money. This one will fit perfectly.

It's the elastic from the French military parachute; 6 were stretched across the chest mounted reserve and when you pulled the pin they all pulled the flaps out of the way. I remember seeing French Navy dive instructors using the solid loop ones in St Mandrier while on a course there.
The new version looks great, may get one for a look.
    Cheers

Yes I think some collectors got them made to begin with, Jonathan had one on one of his French Beuchat MN dive watches I sold for him...

That looks great on the KonTiki. I'll have to try it on mine.
