    Default Lemania Chronometer

    Hello,

It is my first post here, so let me introduce myself.

I am not a collector, but a guy that loves vintage watches, particularly Lemanias.

I am from Portugal, and I will try to share some knowledge and also learn from you.

Recently, I bough form Nic Green (Chronomatic) a Lemania chronograph chronometer.

I believe the movemnet is a 27CH, but unfortunately it seems some parts are missing.

Dial is "burned" by the sun but I am ok with that.

I would appreciat your comments on the watch, and also if you know a supplier to source the missing parts for the movement.

    Thanks in advance.

Great looking watch you've got there, I am not a watchmaker so please understand my opinion a is just that. I cannot see anything that stands out as missing. The watch seems to run OK, does like fine, to my untrained eye. What are you expexting to see that is not there?
Have you compaired it with ranfft pictures for lemania? What it tell time? Does start stop reset work?

    Congrats

    Hi Thanks for your reply.

    Please see pictures below.

One is from a movement with a a serial number very similar to mine

The watch works fine, the missing parts highlighted at yellow are for a chrono function.

So, your movement is not the 27CH (which is just a size (in mm approx) and the fact that it is a CHronograph). Yours has a 12 hr register, so would be a 27 CH12.
But, I believe yours is the next step, the 2310. Your best bet for spares is to find the Omega and Tissot calibre equivalents, and the part numbers from the exploded diagrams available online (there are many).
    Good luck

If it's Lemania-powered, I'm interested. Tool Chrono - interested. Dive Chrono - interested. Interesting - interested

    Hi,

Thanks for your feedback and clarification.

I will try to source those parts, as I am in love with the watch.

Case is 14kt and movement is marked BOL which I believe is a indication that the watch/movement was to the USA market.

Watch is with my watchmaker, as soon as I get it back I will post more pictures,

    Regards,

    Joćo Santos
