Lemania Tonneau style 1959
Just picked this up for a snip on eBay. it came from a house clearance in the old DDR. It also came with a period jewellers box and guarantee slip from 1959. On it , it is referred to as: 9104/Pa automatic...Can't find out a thing about it, not even a single Lemania Tonneau pic of this type on google images..... It's hardly been worn, perhaps it was a Sunday best watch. I've taken an instant liking to it and it's going in my Lemania collection! I took the top of to remove a couple of specks from the dial and polish the glass, but didn't really want to pop the back off .Can anyone give me any pointers about this ref, this model, or a guess as to the calibre? I'm getting the feeling it's a bit of a rare bird...

Hi.
Nice pick-up. Cal 4650/4651. I know a British gent with one in his collection. Not a common model. No cal 465x Lemania really is common as such. Yours is in a very nice condition.
PA indicates Plaque Acier. (Gold) plated steel.
Here's the 1956 catalogue entry.

Cheers

Brilliant.
Thanks so much for taking the time to give me a bit more info and posting up the ad. I paid 130 Euros for it which I think was a pretty good deal.

I've recently bought a broken lug version of the exact same ref, so there is more cost coming my way. I still think I've got a deal. @Northernman is spot on as always. The ref he shows is the exact watch we both have. It is very rare and don't surface very often.
Enjoy yours, it will be months until I will get to wear mine.
