The gerneral drift upwards means that this Lorenz, more sober than many in simple stainless with black dial, is better value than many.
And if your lady were able to tolerate a manual wind chrono, this Eberhard is almost worth it for the movement alone. If I were to want to make up mt own custom 1872, I think I would start there.

If it's Lemania-powered, I'm interested. Tool Chrono - interested. Dive Chrono - interested. Interesting - interested

not that i'm interested, but interesting
i think that is the 2nd navigator i see that says 'made in ecuador' on the dial. what is that?

Perhaos he is making them up himself. I bought a 5012 powred navigator from him in 2007, and he regularly has them. Think mine cost me £240........

'making up' means restoration?
Edit: i've read a forum discussion about Tissot jumping our watches labeled with 'Hecho en Ecuador'. The guess was: Tissot exported the parts to Ecuador, where the watches were assembled - to save import duties. Sounds reasonable.

I see the numerical neighbour of my BBC Lemania is back up for sale as a straight auction. Last Ebayed at an asking of €2k 2 years ago, I wonder where the value will end up
