Had a hard life, that one has.
And hand-applied Lume?? I am sure my Selectron is much more evenly applied over the printed numerals.
I have a new camera, so perhaps some macro fun is called for.......

No, not at all, but they share a case and features with one that was. SAAF
Curiously, MWR is discussing a Lemania "Viggen" (or SwAF) with Rodania on the dial. Not mil at all, but sold (due to publicity on Hodinkee) for €7500. Mad.

For me, the design is what I go for.
If the watch is good, I go for that.
That is why I have Tudor Subs, and not Rolex, Selectron chrono, not SAAF, Lemania chrono, not the Omega equivalent. Same with my pd Orfinas, I have had 5, but never an issued one.
It defies belief that the same watch can be "worth" 3-4 times more, just because it is issued. And it is really strange how inconsistent this is.
I do have a couple of issued watches. HS9 and Tutima ZUZ. I have those because there is no alternative. I love the watches, and they only came in issued form.
