Nice to see that 5012 with what is probably its original NSA folded link bracelet (much like the pd ones).
That gold one has stood too close to a polishing wheel, but the dial and hands are PERFECT. Never been tempted by a gold one before........

ps I see that Ricardo is also offering a nice Orfina Royal Navy in blue, a bi-metal Lemania version of the Audi Sport and also a 1340-powered Ecole Technique.
If it's Lemania-powered, I'm interested. Tool Chrono - interested. Dive Chrono - interested. Interesting - interested

Catawiki presents another Lemania, the rather gopping Bulova.
Zero start, so an interesting one to watch.

It is very nice, I would love to handle on in the metal, rather than see photos.
However, I am always slightly disappointed that they bothered to do a blue version, then didn't bother with a blue chapter ring, blue day and date......

Hi Rega. thanks for sharing - first time I see an explanation of L.M.C.. Tried then to google "Leon Military Chronograph" which didn't return a result - it is rare these days that a google doesn't return a hit - so maybe a real gem?

Hmmm, I am a bit more sceptical.
I see the docs and understand some of the mods, but....
Why are the H and M hands (which are flat and not lume centred) painted badly with that horrible yellow stuff (which I am sure was never Lume)?
If this was a mod of the original (which the docs indicate), how did they get a new caseback designation (ie not 510.543 but 583.510)?
In fact the whole caseback is wierd looking and totally different from all other AMIs I have ever seen
I see the reason mod for the pushers, but I totally fail to see an improvment in the crown. What is that about??? that seems like an explanation for a new part, rather than a desired improvement..
I could be persuaded, But I am not yet.
    Dave

Hi Dave & rega , hi all ,

Being at twice the owner of an Heuer AMI and being in contact with Heuer's fans on Kronos (italian Forum) I never heard anything about such a "prototyp" ... or modification . (A prototyp is made by a maker and not by a people out of the official circuit) .

I am a little bit suspicious too and I contact immediately Kronos to have some informations .

Don't know what to make of that one, until I scrolled to the letters I thought 'nah, horrible bitsa', and seems a very rudimentary prototype if it s one - those hands, the way the logo sits over the hour marker, the butchered pusher holes, the odd-job case back...looks like more of a 'mock up' than prototype if it is one. Be very interested to look further into that paperwork...
