    Default Why is this $8K +

    it is the rare dial version but it isn't 'rare' as a piece... at the moment I have two Venus 175 versions being restored..... anyone got any ideas..?

    Because everybody seems to have gone stark raving mad.
    There are Yema Chronographs on the bay for $3500, which 2 years ago nobody would have looked at for $500.
    Anything that can be vaguely called a "Divers Chronograph" seems to have stupid money on it, when most aren't even shower resistant, let alone Divers watches.
    Not to mention somebody has to pay for all that beautifully applied blue paint on the sub hands lol.
