    Thanks Pat.

This particular example is branded "Tradition" - the timepiece brand chosen by Sears Roebuck, and dates to the mid/late 1960s. It features a delightful white & black "Panda" dial configuration and a superb patina. For comparison, a "Panda" dial Heuer Carrera reference 7753SN is valued at nearly ten times the asking price of this Tradition. And they were built alongside one another and have the same movement.
Mine seen here is a little more rare as it has Stellaris & T SWISS on the dial. This 1's case # & serial # is very present between the lugs which verifies it is indeed made by Heuer.Heuer produced these for Sears for the working man or layman @ an affordable price.

I'm fascinated w/ movements-so of course I removed the case-back to check the 7730 inscribed

I'm not very good w/ words but from everything I've seen & studied about this particular watch I tried to explain.

Poor Man's Heuer..Panda Dial. I've been after 1 of these for quite awhile now w/ friends on the lookout for me as well.
A little about this little gem.(from the net). It's made & cased from the same parts bin as the Carrera for Sears Roebuck & Co. for the average public consumer. These fantastic 1960s chronographs earned said nickname for no other reason that they were actually made by Heuer - but sold under different brand names. All true "Poor Man's Heuers" feature the same case design, build quality and movements as their Heuer-branded counterparts, but were typically sold by budget retailers. By and large, values remain considerably lower than "real" Heuers to this day, despite the fact that many of them are considerably more rare.

Fast forward to last week when a friend of mine found this in Canada @ his local Value Village for $19.99 USD WHAT!!! YEP $19.99.Can you say deal of the century. These go for @ or about 15-1,800.00 USD nowadays. They originally sold @ Sears for 68.50 back in the day. After months & months of research & now removing the case-back I'VE got an unmolested version w/ an original Valjoux 7730 beating inside.

Pics from my friend when he found it & purchased it.See it in the back amongst all the junk in the back

    Thanks Guys,
I've had it for about a year now. I copied & pasted my remarks from a LookWhatIGot thread on another forum.

Great to see that rare white dialled/white bezel SD, but I'm sorry to see you have had to have your arm replaced with a rolling pin, I hope it wasn't too painful
