Congrats, they're a proper tool watch, I reckon that's right up your street.
Is a slippery slope, next you'll be hunting down 5513s and scolding Al as often as I do for secretly moving on that lovely old Pepsi GMT Master II.

I wouldn't want to replace the dial, it looks like it's lived the life it was designed for!

Hm. I think the watch was designed for diving (20 atm) and for glowing in the dark, not for loosing the dial color around the lume...
I also think the watch wasn't used that much, the rest of it is near mint.

The thing is: it looks nice from some angles, but it looks quite odd from others, namely if you can't distinguish the lume from the loss. Therefore i'd really like a new dial, but they are quite rare. One was sold last year on the bay, but i didn't even knew the watch at that time.

You've been heading this way for a while with your Tudors!
The Exp II is massively underrated & under valued in my opinion.
Does everything a GMT does for half the money, just for a coloured rotating bezel.

    Mark.

    This for me this weekend.
Seen two of these recently for $14500 & $15000 (approx 11500), surely that can't be right?
    Have a good one all!

    Mark.

The other way to look at it is that the 16710 (which is what I thought I wanted) is overpriced.
I reckon 2k more than I paid for my 16570 would have got me a worse example of the transitional 16710 from the same year, with no B & P.
That took it beyond my comfort zone. By a long way.
