    Perfect Pilotwatch delivered by BREITLING in 1939 to the german LUFTWAFFE.

    Great work, really impressive.
    The seconds numerals font is not quite perfect, but very close.

    sure I have a real soft spot for those types of Fliegers... but then again I have a soft spot for any cool watch.. it is a disease.. :-)

    Some one just sold a Eterna same case, hands and dial but none Chrono for a great price over at the MWR PX I was tempted glad some one bought it.

    Well, I'm going to stick my neck out... This is awful in my view. If you are doing a restoration to a vintage watch, I always went by; as much as needed, as little as possible.
    There is nothing vintage about that watch anymore. Case newly chromed, dial reprinted even a brand new handset, new crown, new push button above the crown... to me that watch would now be worthless!

    But hey, who am I to howl against the wolves?

    I couldn't agree more... re chroming case fully... I dunno if totaled maybe but re dial kills it for me......

    I'm looking for the guy who did the restoration to know if he has any of those thick crystals for sell.
    I need them.
