The Venue - Rural yet contemporary! The Environment The ATG Forum Members - also rural yet contemporary! Lol! Just when you say 'no' to Seiko - this happens! Amazing collection from Ben off TZUK who nearly didn't make it after a difficult journey across the Alps! There he is still shaken My watches, box from Gary... Manometro, a 1675 GMT - a couple of B42 Fortis including the Alarm watch, the new Harwood watch, Speedmaster PVD and of course Bremont. Martin's grouping, Acutron a 40's Wittnauer and amazingly now 3 soon to be 4 Bremonts!! Gary's Omega Fantasy Martin's Bremont fantasy Mark's proper vintage section (and thanks for coming along Mark - I hope you enjoyed yourself) Dave S. Tool watch collection - some great pieces now there Dave Chris brought along his new ALT1-C - another new guy with pretty great taste, the black Sinn is his Manometro in steel.... Simon's 1967 pre Moon Speedmasters (crazy man) he was also gracious enough to bring his Daytona for me to see and his Seadweller for others to have a look at.... Ben's Sinn - another very cool watch The Harwood movement close up - general opinion was nice watch with a great history and inovative movement Ah Ben's Sinn.... mmmm! RXW Panerai from Mark, good looking quality, not my thing but nice enough.... A bit of Dave's Aquagraph - this is what comes of sitting on the other side of the table... Oh and everyone relying on me to get the pics... Martin's soon to be someone elses Movado Pilot - El Primero OO! Nice big and bad Fortis B-42 Chronograph Gary's Speedy MKII Exotic..... very shinny! Acutron Seemed to go down well with Ben - Manometro Carbon Fibre and Titanium Case. Fortis B-42 side shot Junghans J88 - another i should not have sold Dave's Lederer - again wrong side of the table The baddest Fortis Flieger ALarm Chronograph what and impressive beast that is...... above shot of rubbish out of focus Fortis Alarm watch was replaced by stock shot of mine Ahh and ALT1-P from Martin..... mmmm I like that one... Benrus Type 1 Lights on and throwing out time.... Well I for one enjoyed myself, good company (edible food) and some very cool watches. However I think we are spolied with so much hardware on the table..let's next time limit it to your three favourites? Man that will be difficult... Lol!

Damn cool GTG. Hard to say what watch is the coolest as each is so different and sweet. Did love that Autavia Heuer I saw in gray pvd?? that Dave has, as well as Gary's Omega group as well as the Manometro - VERY unique piece there, as well as the Sinns as well as..... Well done, boys! Well I for one really enjoyed myself. Great to finally meet Mark and Chris not to mention fondling all those beautiful time pieces, I thought I'd died and gone to WIS heaven, except that Fortis kept waking me up! What a beast!

Here's to the next GTG, not to sure about the 3 watch idea though, I love the variety and enthusiasm that goes with them. I always try to keep an open mind on brands and types of watches, so the more the merrier I think. After all I never thought I'd own or appreciate a Rolex a year ago and look at me now! All thanks to actually handling and wearing one for while.

I really enjoyed it, and I have to agree with Gary that one of the key benefits is to have so much to look at. It's fantastic to have a big range of watches there, as it provides a real opportunity to handle some stuff you would otherwise not get to gawp at, let alone try on, ask about etc.
What we need is a bigger table, especially if Al keeps on bringing watches as LARGE as the Fortis Alarm.
ps - Tom, the PVD Autavia is Green, not grey, and thanks for the comment.
